When you love what you do, it’s tough to break away and deal with things like customer questionnaires and paperwork. We chatted with Robin Brown of Manhattan Mutt Company to see how WebMerge has helped their company grow.

Can you tell us a little bit about your business?
Manhattan Mutt Company is a pet services company based out of Manhattan, Kansas. Our main business is comprised of dog walking and pet sitting.
What problems were you running into that led you to search for WebMerge?
Our biggest challenge was controlling Google Docs and the nightmare of copying/pasting from the questionnaire. All the back-and-forth resulted in a spreadsheet that was then turned into a regular word document so I could easily review the client's info, as well as provide it to my employees in a legible manner. It was incredibly time consuming!
As we have grown, I grew to dread the task. I was manually submitting 2-6 forms per week with up to 15 minutes spent on each. It felt like a waste of my time though the information was absolutely necessary.
How are the things different for you now that you use WebMerge? What's changed? What's better?
Now that we use WebMerge, our New Client Questionnaire arrives into our inbox completely ready to print. No more transferring information! The work we do on our end now takes 60 seconds or less. We instantly download it to our Google Drive, print a copy and it's done. And it's in a prettier format, too.
What are your plans for growth? How do you see WebMerge playing a role in that?
Because many of our clients are military members or vet students, we have a constantly rotating client base. Each new client is asked to complete our questionnaire prior to us beginning services - once for each of their pets. We have 150+ questionnaires from the business's launch (June 2012) until now. Also, it has given our documents a more professional look.
Can you summarize in one sentence what difference has WebMerge made for your business and for you, personally?
To say it has been a time saver is an understatement. Also, it has given our documents a more professional look.
